1998 Bayliner LeClercq

Almost Home

We left Anacortes and tried to be early to the 8am fuel dock opening.  Alas someone beat us to it.  We floated for a while and eventually got on the dock to put another 500 gallons of fuel aboard.  We departed the fuel dock around 9am for the long trip back through the Swinomish Channel to Puget Sound, eventually landing in Poulsbo for the night.

Melissa started making cinnamon rolls immediately upon waking and had them all rolled out and rising before we could finish refueling.

Jim made appetizers of fresh fava beans we got at the Anacortes farmers Market.  Then a pasta with shrimp and fresh baby artichokes – also from the farmer’s market.

After dinner, we finished sorting out a few shelves in the engine room.  So close to having the boat fully organized, and the guys fully up to speed on what all parts we have aboard.  Jim finished up organizing the small parts boxes.
