Dave was getting after Melissa and Kelly for using so much fresh water on the trip. He had to make water three times to keep up with the demand. However, down in the engine room one day, Dave realized the fresh water pump was running quite often when nothing was on. He checked all the sinks and they were dry underneath. Nothing was leaking in the engine room. Must be the washing machine. Sure enough there was a fairly constant drip going into the bilge under the washing machine. We were pumping our freshwater overboard the whole trip.
Dave finally tackled the big job to remove the dryer to get at the plumbing behind the washer. This involves taking off the door, removing the dryer vent through a tiny access panel and lifting the dryer off of the washing machine. Sure enough - a line was dripping. Dave re-taped it and tightened the fittings, waited a while and it was dry as a bone.
Melissa helped lift the dryer back up, Dave hooked everything up and put the door back on. Job is hopefully complete.
