We left Everett June 29 for Port Townsend. This is our first test of the new anchor. Wow, what a difference. The boat lurches to a stop when the anchor sets. We are very happy with the new set up (well, for now...).
We arrived at Port Angeles Boat Haven where we leave the boat for a week. The Murphy's went camping in their new to them van and we volunteered to watch their "children" while they were away. We love those two cats and always enjoy staying at the "Lodge".
When Mom and Dad arrived back, we spent a few more days enjoying Port Angeles. Dave had worked out a plan to meet Charly and Nomi at the ferry dock to gather up the new water maker. So, Dave and David hopped in the van only to have it break down on the way. Massive engine failure left them stranded on the side of the road.
The next stop will be Canada where Dave promised David some good salmon fishing.
